Eric Tveter joined upc cablecom as Managing Director in May 2009. The American citizen was President of UK cable operator Telewest Global Inc. (2004 to 2006) and held a range of senior management positions at Time Warner Cable, Comcast Corporation and Cablevision Systems Corporation. Tveter was a Non-Executive Board Member of Open TV and formerly served as Chairman of Sightspeed Inc, a video conferencing and communications provider until the business was sold to Logitech late 2008. The all-round manager with extensive knowledge and experience in the US, UK, and European cable industry holds an MBA from Rutgers University, one of America’s oldest and most prestigious University’s, as well as a Bachelors of Science degree in Economics and Accounting from Long Island University.

Marco Quinter has been with upc cablecom since 1996 and until 2001 he was in charge of the company’s IT division. After that he built up the Business Customer division and was responsible for the sale of data, Internet and telephony solutions for business customers throughout Switzerland. Since 2007 he has been managing the Business Markets department. Born in Switzerland, he has many years’ experience in the ICT industry. After studying business management (lic. oec. publ.) at Zurich University he made his mark as IT Project Manager with IBM, as CIO with ComComputer and as IT Consultant with Prilabel.

Frank Zelger joined upc cablecom in 2008 – since December 2010 as Senior Vice President Customer Care & Services. His responsibility is to look after all aspects of customer care. From 2002, he held various management posts at TDC Switzerland (Sunrise) and his last role there was as Executive Director Customer Care. Before working for Sunrise, Frank Zelger was a member of the board in management consulting at KPMG. He also has over 20 years experience as a lecturer in adult education, for example at Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and the Institute for Financial Services in Zug, Switzerland (IFZ).

Roland Bischofberger has been Head of Corporate Communications at upc cablecom since August 2010. His responsibilities include the company’s internal and external communication. Before joining upc cablecom he worked in the Corporate Communications division of OC Oerlikon. Prior to this, he was employed in the telecommunication sector of Siemens Switzerland and as Investor Relations Manager for the Siemens headquarters in Munich. Roland Bischofberger holds a communicator degree from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences as well as having completed technical basic and further training.

Since 2002 Bernd Kleinsteuber has been responsible for all regulatory affairs, the Legal Department and all matters relating to compliance at upc cablecom. Since December 2008, he has also been responsible for Corporate Communications, Public Affairs and Human Resources. As lawyer and licensed attorney, he was in charge of the legal and regulatory divisions at Energis (Switzerland) and its European subsidiaries prior to joining upc cablecom. His career has also included positions with the German telecommunication provider o.tel.o in Dusseldorf and the business consulting law firm of Rittershaus, Wissmann & von Rosenstiel in Mannheim and Frankfurt.

Matthias Krieb joined the management of upc cablecom in June 2010 – since December 2010 as Vice President Product Management & Business Development. Mr. Krieb was born in Germany and has lived in Switzerland for more than ten years. He has worked for upc cablecom since 2005. From 2006 to 2010 he has been head of the Strategy & Planning division, where he was responsible for the strategic corporate operations. At the beginning of 2009, Krieb was also given responsibility for marketing cable connections and relations to the real estate industry. Before joining upc cablecom he worked for the strategic consultants Bain & Company in Germany and Switzerland for eight years. Matthias Krieb studied business administration and holds a doctorate in business informatics from the University of Marburg.

Since June 2011 Alexander Lorenz has worked for upc cablecom as Vice President Network Services. The German Alexander Lorenz joined upc cablecom from Kabel Deutschland, where he worked for more than five years. His career has also included positions with Agilent Technologies, Inet Deutschland GmbH, Group3G UMTS GmbH, Viag Interkom and Siemens AG. He has an electrical engineering degree from the Rudolf-Diesel-Technikum in Augsburg, Germany.

Ivan Nash Vila has been serving as Chief Financial Officer at upc cablecom since June 2011. He has both Spanish and American nationality and possesses a long-standing international track record in finance. Ivan Nash Vila worked for companies in the Swiss telecommunications and IT industry before joining what was then cablecom in 2003, where his last post was Head of Corporate Finance & Investor Relations. Further posts followed within Liberty Global, the most recent being that of Director of Mergers and Acquisitions based in London. Ivan Nash Vila graduated from The University of Texas at Austin and holds an MBA from London Business School.

From July 2011 Eva Slack was Vice President Sales and since March 2013 she has been a Senior Vice President Sales and Online of upc cablecom. From 2000 onwards she held a number of positions at Liberty Global, most recently as Vice President Sales at UPC Netherlands. Before joining Liberty Global she worked for Dell Computer Corporation in different marketing positions for more than six years. A native of Ireland, Eva Slack completed an honours degree in Business and Information Technology at the University of Wolverhampton, UK.
